12-year-old Myung-eun is exceptionally emotionally sensitive. However, she has a secret she keeps to herself. That secret is her family, as they are not the family she wants.


Myung-eun’s teacher recognizes her talent in literature and suggests she enters a writing contest. As she learns more and more about the world through writing, her conflict with her family grows. 


Under the contest’s theme of ‘Family’, Myung-eun decides to write the most honest, risky, and terrifying truth about her own family.
